Straight answers to the questions that come up most.

Getting started

How do I make a slideshow? On the homepage, tap Choose Photos and select your pictures. You’ll land in the editor, where you can add more photos, arrange them, style the slideshow and download it as a video. How It Works walks through the whole flow.

Do I need an account? No. There’s nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.

Photos

How many photos can I use? Up to 100 on a desktop or laptop, up to 50 on phones and tablets. The editor shows a live count, and if you select more than the limit we’ll add the first ones that fit and tell you.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere? Never. Everything happens locally in your browser — see the privacy policy for the details.

A photo didn’t appear. Some formats (like HEIC photos on non-Safari browsers) can’t always be decoded. Re-export the photo as a JPEG or open the page in Safari and try again.

Video export

Which browsers can download the video? MP4 export needs a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari 16.4 or later. If your browser can’t export, you’ll see a slim notice at the top of the page — everything else still works, and your slideshow stays put while you switch browsers.

What format is the video? MP4 (H.264 video, AAC audio) at 30 frames per second — 1920×1080 in landscape or 1080×1920 in portrait. It plays on phones, TVs and every major platform.

Is there a watermark? No.

Music

Can I add my own music? Yes — pick an audio file from your device. Songs up to 10 minutes long are supported; longer files are trimmed to fit with a notice.

What is beat sync? When music is added, EasySlideshow can detect its beat and snap your photo changes to it, so cuts land on the music. It’s on by default and you can turn it off with the Sync to music beat toggle.

Something’s wrong

The page looks broken or a button does nothing. Make sure JavaScript is enabled and you’re on an up-to-date browser, then reload. Private windows with strict content blockers can occasionally interfere.

I lost my slideshow when I refreshed. EasySlideshow saves your in-progress slideshow on your device as you work and offers to continue where you left off when you come back. Clearing your browser’s site data — or using a private window — removes it, so download your video when it’s ready.

Still stuck? Email hello@easyslideshow.com and tell us what happened and which browser you’re using.
