EasySlideshow is built to be private by design: your photos are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to a server. This page explains, plainly, what data is and isn’t involved when you use the service.

Your photos and videos

When you choose photos, they are opened directly in your browser using your device’s own capabilities. Arranging photos, styling them, previewing the slideshow and creating the final MP4 video all happen on your device. At no point are your photos, your music or your finished video transmitted to us or to any third party. We couldn’t see them if we wanted to — there is no upload step in the app at all.

What we don’t collect

  • No accounts, names, email addresses or passwords.
  • No photos, videos, music or image data of any kind.
  • No filenames or photo titles.
  • No precise location data.

Usage analytics

We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand how the service is used — for example, whether people finish making a slideshow and where they get stuck. These events contain only things like counts and feature names (for instance, “12 photos selected” or “export completed”). They never include your photos, filenames or any image content. You can block these analytics with any standard content blocker without affecting the service.

Local browser storage

EasySlideshow stores small pieces of state in your own browser so the app works well — for example, remembering whether you’ve dismissed a notice, or keeping an in-progress slideshow so you can continue later. This data stays on your device and is under your control: clearing your browser’s site data removes it completely.

Cookies

The service itself sets no tracking cookies. The analytics tool above may set a cookie to distinguish visits; blocking it changes nothing about how the app works.

Children

The service collects no personal information and is suitable for general audiences. Because there are no accounts, there is nothing personal for a child to enter.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the current version will always be on this page with its date updated above. The core promise will not change: your photos are processed locally and never uploaded.
